Next open up Paint which comes with all windows systems and is located under accessories, once you have paint open, click edit and then paste, your file will appear onto your Paint screen!!!
All you have to do now is save it as a jpeg and there you have your jpeg file already to go into Silhouette Studio to be traced!
I have used adobe and paint programmes as these are on most peoples computers already.

What is an STUDIO3 file?
A STUDIO3 file is a design project created by Silhouette Studio version 3, a program used to design items that can be cut with a Silhouette electronic cutting machine. It contains a design, which may include text, shapes, lines, images, colors, gradients, patterns, and effects. STUDIO3 files also store design page settings, cut settings, and registration marks.
The STUDIO3 file is the primary file associated with version 3 of Silhouette Studio. When you create and save a design project, the STUDIO3 file is the default format used to store the design. However, you can also choose to save the design as a .STUDIO or .GSP file. The STUDIO3 file replaced the STUDIO file with the release of version 3. The STUDIO file was used by version 1 and 2 of Silhouette Studio.
Once you are finished with your design you can verify the cutting, emboss, deboss, grid, registration marks, stipple, and cut settings. You can then send it to a connected Silhouette device for cutting.
